The SEA LIFE TRUST Beluga Whale Sanctuary was created in partnership with Whale and Dolphin Conservation (WDC) with the aim of providing formerly captive beluga whales with a safe and more natural home.
We hope to lead the way and encourage the rehabilitation of more captive whales into natural environments, bringing an end to whale and dolphin entertainment shows in the future. This change could potentially transform the lives of over 3,000 whales and dolphins currently housed in traditional captive facilities or performing in shows around the world.
