Situated 10 minute drive from Þingvellir National Park, Hotel Borealis offers an in-house restaurant and scenic views of the surrounding mountains. During winter it is a nice place to spot the northern lights.
The restaurant at Hotel Borealis combines both modern, creative and traditional icelandic styles of cooking. The delicious breakfast buffet is served in the restaurant and always included in the accommodation.
In the bar you can relax and all guests have access to hot tubs, garden and the terrace.
All guest rooms at Hotel Borealis include a seating area, wardrobe free WiFi and wooden floors. All of the hotels rooms and bungalows have a private bathroom with a shower. We also offer accommodation in a three bedroom Villa and in a modern house next to the hotel.
The hotel has a conference room and our renovated barn “Hlaðan” which is a perfect location for an icelandic country wedding, events and conferences.
