It is a 5 minutes’ walk from the world famous Skógafoss Waterfall and stands at the foot of the Eyjafjallajökull and Mýrdalsjökull glaciers. In addition to the fascinating Skógar Museum, there are extensive hiking routes, horseback riding tours an tours on the Mýrdalsjökull glacier.
