Welcome to Hverinn, a recently renovated restaurant with RV and a tentcamp ground located 100 km. from Reykjavík in West Iceland.

An Icelandic home cuisine restaurant. Meals are cooked with fresh ingredients straight from producers and organic vegetables from the farm. We offer meat and fish dishes, vegetables, salads, soups, hamburgers, sandwiches and pizzas. There are also traditional Icelandic pastries available with your coffee. A wine bar and a tourist shop selling handcrafts, organic vegetables and other necessities for travellers.

At Hverinn there is a travelers store and a small farmers market that sells products straight from the farm and the local area, like organic vegetables bread baked in a hot spring and handcraft.
Camping Site
The camping offers 100 places for tents and campers including 60 with electricity. Available services: WC, showers, washing machine, dryer, playground, outdoor barbecue, sludge disposal camper, car wash.
Hobbit Camping Houses
Do you want to camp in a green house? Our new “hobbit camping houses” welcome you. They are warmed up with geothermal heat from our hot spring. Ideal for Icelandic weather that can be stormy, cold and wet.
Bed & Breakfast
Hverinn “Sælureitur í sveitinni” offers accommodation in four bedrooms, two single beds in each, shared bathroom , living room with TV, bed linen and towels. Apartment with one bedroom, bunk bed sleeping three persons, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, living room with sofa bed sleeping two persons, bed linen and towels. Apartment with two bedrooms with four single beds, sleeping four persons, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, living room, bed linen and towels. One bedroom for three persons, three single beds, bed linen and towels, private bathroom.
There is a porch with outdoor furniture, barbeque and a hot tub. Outdoor swimming pool is 150m away. Free wifi and private parking. Beautiful garden with old trees in it, ideal for picnic.
