Kirkjubær Camping Ground

Welcome to the Kirkjubær Camping Ground for camping and cottages. We take pride in offering one of the best equipped camping facilities in Iceland. In addition to camping, we also offer sleeping bag accomodation in seven new cottages.

We are situated in the small village of Kirkjubæjarklaustur, by RingRoad 1, 260 km east of Reykjavík.

Kirkjubær is a prime location to serve as your basis for daytours to some of Iceland most remarkable natural attractions, such as Lakagígar Craters, Eldgjá Canyon, Vatnajökull National Park and The amazing Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon.
