Silva Guesthouse is a warm and cozy guesthouse only 14 km from downtown Akureyri, surrounded on all sides by the spectacular beauty of Eyjafjörður fjord. The restaurant was open for business in 2012, and the cottages and the guesthouse have been in use since 2015.
Two of the cottages have one bedroom with a closet and two high quality, made up beds which can function as twins or be pushed together to form a double, bathroom with walk in shower and a living room with TV and radio/speaker-system. The living room features a comfortable couch with pullout sofa-bed and two beds which may be separated from the others with a screen for privacy. There is also a kitchenette in the living room with a ceramic stove, fridge, microwave oven, toaster, coffee machine and kettle. Each room is equipped with under floor heating so they are always warm and comfortable, no matter the weather outside.
The third house has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with bunk bed, a bathroom with walk in shower and a living room with TV and radio/speaker system. The living room features a comfortable couch with pullout sofa bed. There is also a kitchenette in the living room with a stove and oven, fridge, microwave oven, toaster, coffee machine and kettle.
The houses each have a private veranda with outdoor dining facilities and a glass windbreak on their northern side to provide the best view possible while protecting you from the elements. Shared hot tub with fantastic views of the valley is only 35 m from the houses. The road to Akureyri is always open. Free parking spaces by the houses. Breakfast buffet available. Free WiFi.
